An Interactive Forest of Flowers
Oddish is an innovative and engaging interactive installation designed to mimic the delicate process of a flower's blooming, with a unique twist—it responds to light. This installation comes to life when interacted with; by waving the light from your phone across the petals of the flower, you initiate a captivating display of its opening. It's a delicate dance of technology and nature, inviting participants to witness the beauty of a digital flower as it blossoms before their eyes. The installation encourages a gentle approach—much like its natural counterpart, Oddish is a sensitive creation that reacts adversely to harsh touches, so visitors are reminded to interact without poking.
Done as a collaboration with Cube Zero and the elective subject Tectonic Grounds at The Melbourne School of Design.
